Misdiagnosed and lost an organ

At Life Flora Clinic and their Trauma Drs, Dr Tyrone Richards and Partners, you have a bigger chance of getting misdiagnosed than getting the help you need.

I was attended to by Dr MS Mampunina a foreign doctor. Horrible bedside manner for a Dr. Dressed like a bum. I was sent home with pain medication. Re-admitted 3 days later and also sent home with pain medication.

I was also reffered to Prof Naidoo at Flora Life hospital, who told me to go for physiotherapy. This was wrong diagnosis no 2.

MRI clean. X-rays clean. No sonar requested.

2 weeks later, after sonars by alternative Radiologist, Onchologist and Gynaecologist, I had to have emergency surgery, and as a result, I lost an organ.

Don't use this practice and don't visit this hospital 's trauma unit. They are reckless with patient health. You will get better treatment at a government facility.

Ward and in hospital: Service is poor. Nurses’s station empty on multiple occasions. Some nurses can't speak english. No case managers on weekends or public holidays to communicate with medical aid. The staff will stand next to your bed with their card machine to collect a R110 co-payment. Doesn't matter if you are half dead from pain. Food is terrible.

Nothing good to write about this hospital. They are also refusing to supply me with copies of my medical records.

Best thing about this hospital is Dr Mahri. Amazing physician.
