Medical Negligence leading to Malpractice

I injured my back on 13 May 2019 and went to Life Midmed casualty on 14 May 2019..Consulted with ER Dr Welsh who asked me about my symptoms and proceeded to examine me.Was given an injection for pain and sent to have an MRI done.MRI was done and I was notified that their systems were all off line and would not get MRI results on that evening and was given a prescription for pain meds and asked to come back the next day for MRI results.I informed Dr Welsh I live in Kempton Park. The next day I reported to casualty and Dr Welsh had my MRI results which showed a herniated disc..I was informed by Dr Welsh that there was no operation required as this condition can be treated by physiotherapy in conjunction with a neurosurgeon.He also stated that there was no neurosurgeon at Life Midmed.I had to find one at Arwyp Kempton Park and give the details to Dr Welsh so he can do the referral letter.No calls were made and I had to make the appointment myself which was only going to be on 24 May 2019.I informed Dr.Welsh the pain was worse and I was finding it difficult to walk. On the first medical medical report it was stated that there was a diagnosis of pre existing condition radiculapathy without no xray or mri and was also not booked off work but had to go to back to normal duty Pain became worse Went back to Midmed on Monday 20 May and was seen by Dr Du Plessis who called and spoke with Dr Adedipe the neurosurgeon and arranged for my admission at Arwyp for treatment Conventional treatment made no progress additional MRI was done with a sonar of my bladder as I was by then taken having problems with my bladder bowels.Was diagnosed with Cauda Equina Syndrome and had urgent spinal surgery Till today I am slowly recovering..bowels are ok no.Bladder is now starting to operate normally. Am in constant pain and will not be able to work for a long time to come.As per COID I only get paid 75% of my salary and my entire lifestyle has changed To me this is medical negligence on the part of the casualty at Midmed Casualty dept I need to know why was I treated like a peice of trash by Dr Welsh after I had complained of the psin getting more severe.Something needs to be done to address these issues as it is me and my family and the company I work for that are suffering the consequences of this negligence.
