Medical negligence
My mother was admitted at Life Healthcare Queenstown for congestive heart failure, however she now has a hand scar on her right arm due to how drip medication has infiltrated her skin. The hospital management has yet to provide a reason for this and even offer an apology for the pain now my mother is in. How do you come to the hospital with clean hand, admitted for something else, and now leave with a hand scar?

24 / 02 / 2023: My mother is admitted for congestive heart failure
27/ 02 / 2023: Her right hand, which is limp and not functioning is put drip and now has a scar from fingers all the way to the arm.
It has been 24 hours and still no response to our questions:

1) What was the outcome of the investigation?
2) Why does my mother have a scar in her hand?
3) Why was drip put in her hand that is clearly limp and not functioning from a stroke she had?
4) Why are the nurses being trained after the scar on my mom's hand?
5) Today, my mother has a swollen right hand. Why is that? She is in ICU and no one is feeding her because she is in pain?
On Wednesday no one attended to my mother while she needed to be cleaned.
