Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital

My wife gave birth on the 11 April 2022, unfortunately due to the cold and wanting abit more privacy in a general ward we opted to fork up the R946 per night thinking we would have a better experience and make her stay abit more comfortable.

Sadly this facility has no respect for females breastfeeding, or amenities that work correctly, or decent food. To say the least.

Firstly maintenance comes in whilst my wife was trying to feed our newborn, they drilling in the ward whilst patients and babies are trying to sleep and in their private ward have paint flaking of the walls. Surely that can’t be healthy for newborns???

Definitely will never recommend this facility to anyone.
