Life Springs Parkland Hospital Sucks

I have never in my life been treated like a second class citizen like I did yesterday 15 May 2019. So I arrive at the hospital at around 5:45 to check in for my laparoscope with my excellent Gynecologist Dr C Khoza. At my arrival I get to the main reception where there is no one to attend me and I call the main line and the receptionist answers and tells me to come to the casualty reception. So I get there to a very unwelcoming gentleman who gives me my administration to do. Then when I'm done he tells me to go to the Maternity ward St Mary's, clearly I was wrong to ask for directions as I didn't know where it was situated and his response was so condescending to ask me so sarcastically and state, you don't know where that is so I stated yes, I have never given birth before so I don't know where the maternity ward is to his response it's not only for pregnant women, then tell me to turn right at the 1st door then left at the corridor and then I will see st Mary's reception take the elevator up and I will be at the ward, I thank him and I go towards the ward. I arrive at the ward 1st reception waiting for assistance and to to my surprise the same gentleman from the casualty reception gets to the ward and asks me why I am standing here I should of went to the second reception, so I answered him I don't know where that is and he asks me why I didn't ask for help of which I told him I am waiting here to possibly see a nurse or someone to help me. His response was very unhelpful as he seemed to be scolding me like a school child stating I should ask for help and not just stand around. I don't know if whether I was supposed to interrupt the nurses as they were with other patients in their rooms and invade people's privacy and treatment regimes. I don't know what I did to receive such treatment or maybe he was tired as his shift was coming to an end but I really did not appreciate his treatment at all. I was literally in tears as I didn't deserve such.

Now this morning 16 May 2019, I ask for a menu as I wasn't given the option to choose my breakfast for today and I'm told that I won't be able to choose as menu options have closed. Now I'm not impressed by this as last night I also wasn't afforded the opportunity to choose my dinner as well. I refuse to eat food I will not be pleased with and I hope I won't be charged for it as I have stated I don't want them to bring me any breakfast this morning.

This is my third time visiting your facilities and with the level of bad service I have received, it will definitely be the last time I visit. Thanks to my Gynecologist Dr Khoza but Life parkland hospital you are full of ****.
