Life Savers

I just want to say thank you to the following staff and doctors at Bay View Life Hospital in MosselBay who went above and beyond. And for saving my life.

While on holiday with my family in MosselBay I started having cramps. Being 4 months pregnant we went to the hospital where the doctor informed us that our baby’s heart unfortunately stopped beating. After having a miscarriage, I started having complications and also started bleeding. Doctor Alberts immediately phoned George to arrange for blood to be delivered as I was loosing a lot of blood fast and needed to go into theater. While prepping for theatre I lost consciousness.....in order to stop the bleeding and save my life they had to do an emergency hysterectomy. The staff were fast and worked like a well oiled machine, if they did not I would definitely not be here today
