Life Peglerae Hospital Rustenburg robbing patients via their bills!

On the 13 November 2020 we had an emergency and had to take my mum to the emergency department as she had cut her finger and needed stiches, we arrived at life Peglerae hospital in Rustenburg, so we waited till it was our turn, I then spoke to the lady at the counter (Cheyanne) presented her with a medical aid card, so she checks on her computer and then said sorry this medical aid plan does not cover this visit as it is only a hospital plan, it only covers if you’re admitted So I said okay I will pay cash, so she began paperwork, then I paid R600 upfront for consultation fee, the my mother was taken in and treated, thereafter I paid a further R900 this was for the stiches as explained by Cheyanne, so before leaving the guy at the other counter said we cant leave we have to settle another bill, so when I asked what bill as I have just paid, he explained that this was for medication used from the hospital, so I waited while he compiled the bill and he said its R245, which I then paid and we left. The follow up visit was on Sunday 15 November 2020, again I Paid R200 Follow up fee, and on the 13th the Doctor said to my mother to carry the medicine so that she will not have to pay again. On the 23 November 2020, we went back to have stiches removed, Cheyanne advised that there will be no charges as this was already included in the payments I have made, so we waited, my Mother went in and then the stiches were removed and no medication was used, then we left. On the 21 December 2020 my dad received a SMS saying to settle a short payment of R524.87 So, on the same day, I then contacted the number was on the SMS and spoke to a lady and wanted to find out what was this for, she says it was short paid by medical aid, I then said to her I paid cash so what are you talking about, she then said that this was needed to be paid to the hospital, so I asked why was this payment not taken when I was in the hospital, because according to the guy there, he said we cannot leave if we don’t pay, she says maybe he forgot to add the amount, really?????? I asked her why is she making excuses for him, she was silent, so I then gave her my phone number and asked her to deal directly with me, and not contact my dad, so she took my number down, I asked if she needs my email address, she said no and said she will call me, and that was the last I heard from her. On the 13 January 2021, my dad received a statement on his phone (after telling the lady to deal with me directly) The statement really is confusing, because for medicine the amount that was paid was R245, on the statement it shows R294.67 so the guy collected R49.67 short, and now you guys ask for money At the bottom it says “the outstanding balance on your account was short paid by your medical aid due to your casualty limit being reached” But I paid cash so where is the problem here and why must I then pay???
