Life Kingsbury - poor service and lacking response to feedback to issues.

After cancer surgery at Life Kingsbury, Claremont, the incorrect authorization information and clinical codes were submitted through to my medical aid. This happened in February '22. This resulted in a large short-payment owed by me, which I settled with the hospital in good faith to close the arrear account. Since then I've attempted over a 2 month period, to get their case management, Ingrid, to audit/fix the issue and resubmit the correct information to the medical aid, so that I can get the rather large short-payment recovered by the hospital. After 3 calls weekly, multiple emails and continually getting the run-around, the issue hasn't been resolved in the 2 months I've been trying to get it fixed. Their administration area is poor and even trying to get information from the accounts department in JHB has been impossible. Calls go to voicemail and emails to them get ignored. This was our first time in 10 years to visit this hospital and the service levels have gone down, I would NOT recommend using this facility and will not do so myself in the future. As we stand we've received resolution deadline, no monies refunded resulting from their mistakes and no resubmission of the claims needing to go back to my medical aid.

After a family going through the stresses of Cancer and relating surgery, would you want to make use of an institution that adds all this extra stress and still to be owed monies for mistakes made months later?
