Life Healthcare (Parklands) destroyed my son's future

Life Parklands at Springs destroyed the future of my son. My pregnant wife was admitted due to high blood back in 2016 June the 9th) Thursday). The gynaecologist promised to induce her immediately after administering BP medication they gave her. By Friday when I visited her she was fine and her BP was now back to normal but to our surprise they(doctors) didn't induce her. On Saturday she was worried about the baby not playing well even alerted the sister in charge but the sister assured her there was nothing to worry about. It was only around 22h00 when I got a call from the hospital notifying me of an emergency surgery (for delivery).

I arrived and waited a bit longer before the entire process was done. Eventually after waiting they came out but the doctor that was in charge notified me that they tried their best but even though the baby was now breathing they had to resuscitate him because he didn't cry after delivery. She told me that whatever wrong with him was caused by the maternity ward who delayed the delivery and not them.

This led to my boy spending two extra months at the hospital from ICU to infants wards leading to extra costs for the mistake made my the hospital. Our boy had suffered cerebral Palsy (CP).

We are still paying the price of physiotherapy and different medical expenses coming with the condition he got.

It's hard and painful to accept given all the scans went well until the hospital destroyed every chance of him having a bright future.
