LIFE HEALTHCARE - GOOD HOSPITAL BUT UNABLE TO PRODUCE INVOICES FOR HOSPITAL STAYS,

This review is not about the hospital I was in ( Life Hilton Hospital) but about the Life Groups centralized accounting system. The hospital itself was really quite good. I was in hospital on the 14 March and have, or my Medical Aide, is yet to receive an account. I have spoken to the accounts departments at the several times and also the Life Healthcare centralized accounts.

I was informed that their network is down and they are unable to send out any invoices until their network is working. They have also advised when their network should be up and running but have never kept to it. Like most people I have Gap Cover and also like most people I have various shortfalls to pay. My Gap Cover insists on a hospital invoice before you submit your claim. I have had to pay out a lot of money to surgeons etc and like most people at this stage with being battered with all sorts of increases I need the money back from my Gap Cover to keep up with my daily expenses. So I am suffering because Life Healthcare are unable, because of network problems , to generate an invoice. Is this right, surely they could contract some other firm to do their invoicing or resort to the old fashioned method of hand writing invoices. What also really annoys me is that I have had no apology from Life Healthcare, Surely this plus keeping their clients updated is the least they can do, This inability to produce invoices must me putting 1000's of people, like me, in financial difficulties.

Very difficult future decision do I support a hospital near me that is generally good but cant produce invoices or go to some other hospital.
