I previously wrote a review about my nightmare experience with Life Eugene Marais Hospital. On 4th February 2023 I had a freak accident and was admitted in above-mentioned hospital under the PMB medical conditions of my medical aid. After 10 days I was released, then my problems started. The hospital claimed I owe R14000+, which I didn't know about. They handed me over to attorneys in Durban who started to harass me to pay. I didn't accept it and did my own investigation. The lawyers told me there was no funds, but it was a lie, it was a short payment from medical fund, because they was waiting for certain clinical information from a doctor why he took longer theatre time than that was booked. Nothing happened and attorneys keep harassing me about payment. Then I to my surprise found out the admin at hospital send the request to WRONG doctor., no wonder there was no response. How can I be held responsible for someone's *********** actions? I asked the hospital for there reactio but all is silent. I really want to know what is going on. J. C van Rooyen ID: ***
