Life Flora Hospital admission staff is very rude

Where do I begin?? Right from the Rude admission staff to the uneducated Manager of the reception staff. My Partner was supposed to be admitted for a planned knee operation on 20 March 2025. The day before she went to the Dr and after he done his check ups they were sent down to the hospital prep Auth dept to get the Auth approved for the next day. The lady working at the reception told my partner that they already knocked off at 4. My partner told them that she has to be there the next morning at 6am to be admitted as per the Dr. They told her that there would be no problem they will give her details to the night staff. The next morning at 6am we arrived at the Hospital. We were greeted by a very rude admission clerk. He went to the back to fetch her file and came back stating that there is a problem. She cannot be admitted without an Auth. We told him what she was told the previous day. He said unfortunately we have to go and sit and wait, his manager will be in a little later then we can talk to her. The manager arrived at 6:30. She called us to the desk and we told her that my Partner is on crutches and she has a brace. So she will have to come to us. She also told us that she cannot do anything as it is not the Hospitals responsibility to get the Auth. This was not communicated to us the previous day. And the Dr gave instruction to get the Auth from the Auth department. The manager, her name is Sonja, treated the patient as if she is a ***** and a thieve and told her we will have to wait till 8 when the medical aid is opened for them to get the Auth. My partner had to be in the ward at 7 already. At the end of the day we had to get the Auth ourselves. And after this it went from bad to worse. Delays from the Hospital staff meant my Partner was only admitted at 11am. We got the Auth at 10am. Her mother had to book her a bed and took her to the ward herself as they had to wait for a porter as well. I am also not even mentioning the treatment from the nurses in the ward. Poorly run Hospital this. I would rather take business to Wilgeheuwel next time.
