Life Entabeni Hospital - No Go Zone!!!

On Tuesday, 17.04.18 i was taken to Entabeni Hospital Trauma unit as i had a bad case of the flu. However i waited nearly 3 and a half hours until the doctor could see me and then had to wait another 3 hours until i could be taken up to the ward. Was hooked up to a drip in the trauma unit as the casualty doctor diagnosed me with bronchitis. When my specialist physician had come in to see me, he requested blood samples to be done but this never happened. However, late that night, around 9pm was when i was taken up to the ward. First ward i was put in had a leukemia patient and i then had to move again. This new ward was so untidy for a private healthcare facility. The bed was so uncomfortable and the pillow felt lyk a piece of paper. The television refused to go off and neither did it allow me to change channels. I had to endure having this television flashing in my face the entire night which denied me of getting any sleep. The sister on duty was informed and she mentioned that she will report it to maintenance the next morning. Whilst i was in such agonising pain, i tried to remain calm and tried to block of the flashing light. Just as my eyes drew heavy and sleep began to take over, at 3am the **** comes in the clean the bed and the room next to me. This was enough to set me off. I called the sister and she mentioned that she is expecting a patient and she cannot stop the ****. I figured i should just give in. Then at 4am they bring in the new patient and they were so loud about it. Lacked absolute discretion. The nurses would speak so loudly in the passage way during the night. It was absolute torture. I had to ask my doctor to discharge me due to this despite me still being so ill. Did not realise that the nursing staff could be so heartless and inconsiderate towards their patients. We pay good money to stay in these private healthcare facilities but it goes unseen. Absolutely pathetic!!!
