Life Brenthurst hospital = Death, mediocre hospital

<p>I'd like to tell the world out there that this is the worst hospital one can ever be. The outside and the reception area looks promising, wait until you go to the wards, everything is so old and dilapidated. Worst is the noise the nurses make in the corridors and the trolleys the staff are using are as noisy as a train passing by. I've heard a say that "Peaceful hospitals promote healing" this is not the case at Brenthurst. I was admitted in a ward that in the middle of it is construction work, I ended up with a serious cough as a result of inhaling dust. Although I tried speaking to management about it i was told that the unit manager Sister Jackie would come talk to me and this never happened instead I had her discussing me in the corridor with her staff from what I dont if it was a handover or gossip. how unprofessional. As for the staff, there's no direction there they look very confused and they don't communicate. Few good ones I'd like to commend, Nikiwe and Portia with dreadlocks. They took a good care of me during the night and I pray that they worked everyday. Very attentive and they do it from the heart. As for the experience I had, I'll still give feedback and ratings to my medical aid and I'll tell everyone who cares to listen. It was my 1st time in a life hospital I've seen Life in Bedfordview and the Flora clinic in Roodepoort being so proper. I'm not sure about Brenthurst. I'll never go there ever again </p>
