I am getting extremely agitated and frustrated with the fact that I have to beg for my refund from the hospital !!!

Almost 2 years ago on the 22nd November 2021 my friend was admitted into Bedford Gardens Private Hospital for Gal Bladder surgery .

I paid for the surgery in full with CASH as she was not on a medical aid plan and also could not afford the surgery . The amount almost totaled roughly to almost 100k . I had to make full payments to the hospital , surgeon etc BEFORE they would even admit and operate on her.

I then got an email after her surgery and hospital stay was done that I have a refund owed to me from the hospital. I then filled out all the required forms then got ignored for a couple months . I then had to phone through and was put into contact with someone to deal with my refund. I was then requested to fill out a further set of forms and send it through. I was then asked to also have a “consent to transfer funds” form that they had sent me to be filled out by my friends spouse as well as a copy of his ID to be sent through because he is the one who admitted her which I think is utter bull**** !!! At this point , it just seemed like they were buying time and dragging their feet to pay out my refund as they could clearly see with the first set of forms that I had to send through that I was indeed the guarantor!

Once again .. these forms were filled out and sent through .. I was just ignored thereafter again.

They then transferred my case to Lethabo Mokgomola to deal with … let’s just say it has been a rollercoaster from there to say the least . I have had to send and spam her with MULTIPLE emails before I even get an email back from her. I have RE SENT ALL THE DAMN FORMS once again as requested by her and she has begun ignoring me ONCE AGAIN!!

Quite frankly I am fed up and sick of this bull**** as it seems that Lethabo is once again dragging her feet again on this case as she does not want to pay out the refund that is rightfully owed to me!

I do not know what more to do from here on out . Just a bunch of lazy individuals! Quick to take one’s money but not to pay back what is owed to an individual.

This is utterly ridiculous as it is almost two years down the line and I have yet still not received my refund from them.
