Irresponsible members

On the 22nd Feb my grandfather went in for an emergency operation. His dentures where removed in theater by the nurses. We were not made aware of this or notified to pack up anything he was in hospital for almost a month. When he was discharged we realized his dentures was not in the bag. When we call the hospital they said they will look in ICU and the general ward. Unfortunately they could not find it. Upon investigation they nurse said it was wrapped in tissue. To date no on has called regarding the outcome and solution to this matter. It is very disappointing. Sad part is we can't visit to make sure. His belongings are in place. He is in diapers and unable to walk which caused a hugh inconvenience to get in back and forth to the dentist to have them replaced which was unnecessary expenses on us.
