I never requested an ambulance

I broke my ankle, my doctor was my neighbour and called an ambulance to take me to hospital. I said I'm unemployed and my child is looking after me he must cancel the ambulance and ten minutes later 2 ambulances pitched up! The doctor said we'll sort this out later. They took me to the private hospital and my son had to pay i think R2400 for my treatment and they send me home. I haven't received ANY documentation or invoices with one year until lawyers phoned me and said I must pay up R3000. I phoned the ER24 head office accounts department and was stressed because I'm threatened and don't even have money for my monthly medication. After several calls the guy at the accounts department said he'll have a word with his supervisor for discount he also said he will phone me back and I should ignore the lawyers as h? will deal with my problem. He never phoned me back and the lawyers phoned me and informed me that they blacklisted me. I am so disappointed in the whole system...
