Horrible service

I had an operation in Oct 2022 on a Friday. I was discharged the same day. I then had to go back to the Emergency unit the following day with compartment syndrome in my leg. My dr was not in the country. So I went there around 10 at night. The dr on duty told me and my husband that he cannot call the orthopedic surgeon on call as he is not allowed to and that we have to wait until the morning. He is not allowed to wake him up (so please, if you get into a motor vehicle accident at night, and you are taken to the emergency unit, please just wait for the specialist until 8 the next morning - ridiculous). I was seen by my specialist's partner at around 9 the next morning and went to the ward at 12 that Saturday. So 14 hours in am emergency unit. As a nurse myself, who worked in an emergency unit, this is unacceptable. My husband complained the throughout night about this. So they sent us a bill of course, and then we also told them that we complained and that this is unacceptable service. The answer they gave us - we did nothing wrong

I will NEVER AGAIN GO TO THAT EMERGENCY UNIT EVER AND WILL NEVER SUGGEST THAT PLACE TO ANYONE. You might just die
