Glynnwood renal care/ lack thereof

On the 15th July 2025, I was given a letter from my dialysis ward by a Miss Rae referring me to Donald Gordon for a visit to get more information with regards to the transplant and steps to follow.

It took me about two weeks to get feedback from them. I was then told to refer back to Glynnwood renal, Miss Rae to be specific as I still needed to go for an X-ray, cardiovascular examination etc.

I feel hard done with this. That I would have to waste almost a month, doing nothing but to wait for feedback from Donald Gordon, only to be told that I received the wrong information in the first place.

As a 48year old Black man, who has experienced some shady and bad treatment from the Dr and staff alike, do not know how to receive these news.

My parents and family have always said I should take this up, internally within the hospital, but I always brushed aside my previous bad experiences.

But I feel now this is too much. Whoever that's reading this, please do not go to Glynnwood hospital in Benoni to seek medical care. You won't get it there..
