Glynnwood nurses falsifying medication issue documents

Life The Glynnwood nursing staff is putting patient lives in danger. Since 2023 your hospital have been threatening patients, claiming medication was given on the ward documents which it was not. No feedback have been received from your hospital since the last incident 2 weeks ago and we are now fedup.

In 2023 my husband was admitted to your HCU after his colon burst where a nurse physically threatened to suffocate him while he was on life support.

In the beginning of this year a nurse verbally went at him because he asked for sleeping tablets, we received a watered down apology letter from the hospital and a phone call saying the said nurse will not be back at the hospital, YET she is still there

2 Weeks ago my husband was admitted to Glynwood once again on Thursday night Friday early hours of the morning he was transferred to the ward, The Dr saw him Friday afternoon and when day shift knocked off @ 18:00 the pharmacy had not issued medication as yet, however when medication was given @ 22:00 he received the chronic meds issued by the pharmacy and a bottle of paracetamol. He asked the nurse where the pain medication was and she said there was nothing prescribed from the DR. She then wrote in the file the pain medication, paracetamol, Phenegan and chronic meds was administered - IT WAS NOT!!!!

Saturday morning I asked the head nurse to check the meds and she confirmed there was extra pain medication that was supposed to be administered the night before (It was noted in the file but never given)

The manager UM Daniel Zwane contacted me 29.09.2025 asking for our evidence which I sent him and since then no response, no feedback nothing.

My husband was lying in a ward in excruciating pain for more than 12 hours!! He could have had some relief if the medication was administered.

Is this the type of service you offer to patients? We pay a lot monthly for medical aid just to be treated like this. If the nursing staff does not care about patients WHAT ARE THEY DOING CARING FOR PEOPLE????

This will not be left again to be swept under the rug. If no positive feedback is received this time around we will be going the legal route because pain and suffering is not supposed to be part of patient care, Rude behaviour is not supposed to be part of patient care.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Good day

Contact information submitted 5 days ago and yet no feedback from anyone at Life Healthcare. Clearly not concerning enough. Please note this will not be left for a 3rd time. From here I will be going to social media and the HPCSA & OHSC to lay a formal complaint against Life Healthcare as a group as well as Life The Glynnwood hospital
