Flora Clinic & Dr Tshigabe Peadiatrician POOR!
My toddler had been coughing for 3 weeks, and had been to three different GP's. I was at my wits end and decided it was time to send my child to the 'best pead in Jozi' Dr Tshigabe at Flora Clinic. Tshigabe sent my child for x-rays of his chest which came back clean. He decided to have my toddler admitted to Flora for acute asthma. My child was subjected to nebulising every three hours for asthma. The nurses were so slow to help, they had to be called 4 times to assist my husband after my child vomited in his cot. We just wanted new bedding - is it too much to ask in a hospital? FYI - they were just standing by the nurses station chatting. Back to Tshigabe. He spent 5 minutes a day with my child, we were left without answers each time. Toddler left hospital 3 days later, coughing just as much as before. I took toddler for a second opinion at Park Lane clinic. Doc took one look at my child's throat and said it was the adenoid. NOT asthma. Dr Tshigabe has not once followed up to see if my child is okay, and the entire hospital stay was an expensive redundancy.
