Extra billing without any explanation with no itemized bill???

My wife recently had a baby at Vincent Palotti and I was told when I was checking out that the total hospital bill was R14500. The bill which they sent to my medical insurance was R16211, which was paid by my insurance. The insurance was to an amount of R20 000, so I had an additional R3700 in reserve for a maternity cover. I got a lawyers message today that I was being "handed over" for an unpaid amount of R1580! No bill EVER presented to me. When I phoned the lawyer they said that I will be blacklisted. I asked for an itemized bill to show WHY they were claiming the extra R1580, but they cannot send me one. I find this DISGUSTING and would recommend you stay away from these **********!!!!
