Entabeni hospital matron incriminates herself and the hospital

Overall the treatment and attitide received from nurses is disgusting.

For the past 2 weeks my father has been in the ICU. Every day, I have had my 8 year old with me without fail. She stands outside the ward and doesn't go in.

Today out of the blue, I am informed by security and once again a rude matron that children under the age of 12 are not allowed inside any hospital and apparently this is law at any hospital....WELL YOU'VE BASICALLY JUST INCRIMINATED YOURSELF....why has my child been going inside for 2 weeks and she has not been the only one and than all of a sudden today its a different story...I will be issuing a formal complaint against the hospital for knowingly endangering my child for 2 weeks without following proper procedure and the law.

I know for a fact I follow sanitising procedures whenever i come through the hopsital. My child and I were left outside in the cold without entry like a couple of *********. We were not even allowed to sit at the reception.

What a flop. Patients are paying to have some sort of care and their families are not even allowed to visit them. Its ridiculous.
