Dr should consider another proffession

I took my son(20months old) to the ER at Mercantile hospital as he was not well. The doctor on duty was as unprofessional and Totally useless to be exact, firstly he advises me to just continue giving my son fluids and then rather take him back to his paediatrician, this was 21h54 at night, that is why I was at the ER..... He didn't bother to examine my baby, when he saw me getting annoyed, he then sarcastically asks, 'what's the problem, did you want me to admit your child?' I was totally shocked by the disregard for my son's well being, as stated he didn't bother examining him at all. I stormed out, the nurse then escorted us back to the dr and asks the dr if he isn't going to prescribe anything for my sons cramps, to which he responds, ' does the child have cramps?' The whole time Dr he was yawning and not paying any attention to what I was saying, he was shocked when the nurse told him after i had already done so, my son has diarrhoea for 8 days, this was also noted in the file the other nurse had opened. So basically I was at the hospital for more than 2 hours with my sick child and received nothing but a mouthful from an *********** so called Dr. He then only after I started kicking up a fuss wanted to examine my son which I then declined as he wasn't interested in doing so from the onset. I am bringing this to your attention as this is not the service we should be receiving and paying for. I am sure my medical aid has been billed already, quick to bill but not willing to help a sick child...PATHETIC !!, to say the least. I am beyond disgusted as I pay alot of money to be able to go to a private hospital and receive proper care for my family but if this is the case what is the point. I also want to bring this to Discovery's attention to investigate as Discovery members are at a disadvantage here.
