DR Putterman

I gave birth at Life Kingsbury hospital ,last year January.I had an amazing stay at the hospital from the friendly gynecologist upto every hospital staff that assisted me throughout my stay.

Come to my surprise this year that I was handed over by the DR Putterman to debt collectors for not paying an amount of R1900.I called my medical aid to enquirer about this matter and the medical aid sent me proof that the amount was paid 2.09.2018 and I only had R344 outstanding that would be paid from my savings account.I called the debt collectors and they confirmed that after their investigation it was found that the Doctor was paid and I only had R344 outstanding. I was going to pay this R1900 and Im sure I was not going to be made aware that the medical aid has paid for it.This morning I called the practice to enquirer about the matter and why I have not received a call or an email for an apology.I was told that the Doctor will be made aware of this incident and he will send me the apology and that they are faced with such cases on a daily basis.If they are faced with such cases on a daily basis why dont they find solutions for such matters and not have to be quick to send people to debt collectors and put people through unnecessary stress.
