Disgusting service received!

My terminally ill grandmother was admitted to Life St Georges on 24/4 and the hospital agreed that her 2 daughters could be with her 24/7 as she was terminal<br> <br> 1. Our room never had a recliner due to them all being used elsewhere. After a few days we paid a porter to bring us a broken one which was better than SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR (I have photos) as we had been. The recliner was removed the next day due to it being needed elsewhere.<br> <br> 2. On 28/4 I woke at 2:00 and went to find a blanket, when I opened the cupboard I found a nurse sleeping inside<br> <br> 3. On 2/5 Sr. Zukiswa Nanto had a 40 min shower in a patients bathroom while on duty.<br> <br> 4. On 2/5 at 22:00 we asked again for a recliner and were rudely told by Sr. Lindiwe Gunde that they were all in use already. At 23:30 I walked past a room and saw a nurse FAST ASLEEP IN A RECLINER WHILE THE FAMILY OF A DYING PATIENT SLEPT ON THE FLOOR. After alerting the shift manager she actually said IM GOING TO LOSE MY JOB OVER THIS. <br> <br> My grandmother passed on the 3/5<br> <br> 5. All of the above was reported to Debbie Hustler on 4/5 who said Sr. Susan Joubert would be contact with us within 10 days but no one ever did! <br> <br> Shocking and inhumane service!
