Disgusted in Crompton Accounts and Life Healthcare
My daughter was taken to casualty on the 12 March 2019 with chest infection. This is not the first time, we have been to Crompton a good couple times for her chest problems. We were told they would stabilize her for now and we must come back in 2 days, phone first to confirm if there are any beds. Either that or go to another hospital, which my option does not cover. Obviously we chose to try and monitor her at home for the 2 days. On the 15th we took her through to Dr Omar, as her chest had worsened. She was then admitted to the paed ward. She had an asthma attack brought on by viral infection. Momentum did not settle the invoice for the casualty on the 12th as Olivia was not admitted, because the hospital had no beds for her!!! I cannot afford this account and the hospital is not prepared to help me motivate this to Momentum. I have requested a letter from the hospital and from Life, i have been told, there is no evidence to say the hospital was too full. So this means we were **** to by Crompton Hospital and turned away for what?? My daughter had double pneumonia in December. We do not have time for games!!! She is prone to chest infections.
