DISGUSTED BY LIFE DALVIEW

Disgusted!!! Not only did we have an emergency, but we were informed by more than one person that the incident falls under PMB "Prescribed Minimum Benefit" and no additional charges will be incurred. Now six (6) months later I am harassed with sms's. We requested a break down of the so called bill to be e-mailed and nothing. So PMB and being told this is considered a life saving situation means the medical aid pays as little as possible, Life Dalview do whatever they want, and it ends up being either you kick the bucket or we BANKRUPT you. Be VERY, VERY careful when dealing with Life Dalview. At the end of the day it is all about the profit margin and not about the wellfare of the patient. Strangely I experienced a 2nd incident where my medical salvings was depleted during December and I had to pay R2 250.00 just to be seen by the emergency department. And you bet your bottom dollar I receive another sms with an amount due. This is nothing short of sickening.
