Diabetic

My dad is a diabetic and on Wednesday afternoon i took him to casualty with chest pains Dr van der Merwe was great did all the necessary tests, ECG, blood, xray etc but booked daddy in as there was a second set of blood tests needed to be done after a few hours, he is a diabetic so he got to the ward late they made no effort to get a meal for him as he had not had dinner (been at casualty from 4pm) BAD.... next morning he was not happy with breakfast, but had to see the heart specialist where he had to do the treadmill and tests now this was around midday and he had no lunch ... he is diabetic ... once he was released and home he was not feeling great almost a day had gone by that he had no eaten properly his blood pressure shot up and he collapsed at home lucky my sister is a nursing sister and today he is much better but i think that is shocking that on his chart is all his history and no body bothered to make sure that he ate proper meals i mean the man is almost 80......
