Debt collectors before making a plan??? Life Bayview?

So i went to hospital A&E at life Bayview. I got treated, no complaints. Professional and kind.

A couple weeks later i got invoices, i paid them by email. Last week Friday, i was informed i was handed over bh the hospital for an unpaid account. I checked what I needed to check and lo.and behold, I never received an invoice. So what do I do, I reach out to the debt collectors advising I paid, turns out it is the casualty doctors account and not the hospital. But the debt collectors didn't tell me this. I had to.go.loom for the invoice. Oh and they told me a bank statement is not.proof of payment.

So i get sms to say i have to pay R100 toward my account in capital letters TODAY... guess what, no invoice for.me but hey here is our bank details.

The first sms on Thursday had a whatsapp number,.my wife reached out and we were told that tjis has been requested. On friday another pay 100 today message and we followed up for the invoice.

So in a nutshell, Bayview has handed me over without cntacting by email or sms which they very clearly have because the debt collectors have got.

They have not produced to.me.an invoice upon request, butnhave handed me over.

I want to know 1. Why was I not informed of the outstanding amount? 2. Why did they hand me over without first insuring I had been contacted and a plan has been made. 3. Why is an invoice not forthcoming so I can fulfil my obligations to the hospital.

And no Life Healthcare and Bayview, the debt collectors fees are your own problem not mine because you did not follow due process
