Colorblind Quality Healthcare

I was pleasantly surprised when I was taken to Parklands Hospital last weekend to have an eye injury treated and received absolutely the best care one could hope for.

I'm a Caucasian bloke, had my blood pressure checked by an African lady, my bum injected and by an Indian lady and my eye treated by a black doctor and none of these staff treated me discriminatively or differently because of the colour of my skin.

Nowadays you have to applaud service like this... our country is in a bad place at the moment, but it's such a wonderful feeling to be treated like a human being.

Glory, Mercy and Dr Bongo, you guys made my day, and I am recovering like a boss. Thank you for taking care of me!
