Chronic medication not priorities- health care neglected (Oncology ward)

I am deeply concerned and disappointed with the level of care my mother is receiving at this hospital. She was transferred here when she urgently needed attentive, compassionate care, yet the basic needs of feeding her and administering her chronic medication are not being met. This is unacceptable and distressing.

When I visited her yesterday, I checked her medication, and only four pills remained. This morning, I found the same four pills untouched. I asked the nurse on duty if my mother had received her medication; at first, she assured me that she had. Shortly afterward, she returned and admitted that my mother had not, in fact, received her medication.

When I inquired further—asking if the doctor was aware of this situation and if any alternative arrangements had been made—I received a dismissive response: she didn’t know. My mother is lying in bed, undergoing radiation, yet she is not receiving the chronic medication critical to her health.

Why is she even here if the staff has seemingly given up on her care? This situation needs immediate attention and resolution.

I requested an email address of the doctor, they said they can not give it to us.
