Car Accident, Negliance of the Doctors

To Whom it may concern.

I was involved in a car accident on the 25th September 2017.

Netcare Ambulance Service was at the scene and transported me to Wilgehuewel Hospital in Johannesburg.

I was in excruciating pain, I had a open wound on my head which resulted with 7 staples to my head. My foot was in pain, and my nose the doctor said it was just abrasion's and that it would heal. I had a MRI scan and X-rays done, the doctor confirmed all was okay and discharged me the very same day. On the 2nd October 2017 I had to go back to the hospital to have the staples removed and with that resulted that my nose had broken in the accident. On the 5th October I then had a nose operation, the ENT confirmed that my nose will take 1 year to heal. On the 20th October 2017 I went to the ENT to have the plaster removed off my nose and with that my foot was extremely sore and swollen. I went back to hospital complaining, they did a sonar and x-ray and confirmed nothing was wrong with my foot. The swelling will eventually go. Till then my foot is still the same and the pain is unbearable. On the 1st November 2017 I went to my local GP as I could not take the pain and the swelling was terrible. My GP confirmed that I have Lymphoedema of the foot due to the accident. My main problem and concern that I have here is that I was seeing to by a PRIVATE HOSPITAL and the doctors failed to do a proper check up as it was a major car accident and were to quick to discharge me.

I have been off and on from work which I do not appreciate, had the doctors done a thorough check up I'm sure many of the problems could of have been resolved earlier.

Please advise what does one do in a situation like this?
