Brilliant nursing staff and surgical team - Life Mercantile

I wish to compliment Life Mercantile Hospital in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) for the absolutely wonderful treatment I received. I was booked in for Hardware removal surgery (right ankle) on 20 April 2021. From the lady who admitted me through casualty at 6am on Tuesday 20.04 right up to my discharge on Wednesday morning I received the kind of professional treatment one dreams of receiving at a hospital. The nursing staff in Surgical Ward E (I was in bed 5 B) were professional and caring and performed their duty with empathy and compassion. Thank you. Now the highlight of my stay was my actual surgery. Going into theatre is always a terrifyingly daunting experience but the staff put me at ease and I was so comfortable that I could easily return for more surgery!!! My surgical team was: Dr JA Joubert, Dr H Conradie, Dr Jacobson, Sr C Rezant, Sr E Prinsloo, Sr B Williams, and Mr H Delport. What an amazing team! They are indeed brilliant ambassadors for your hospital. Words cannot express how thankful I am. Thank you Life Mercantile and know that I am telling everyone I know what a brilliant hospital you are. If I am ever in need of orthopedic surgery again, Life Mercantile Hospital in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) is the only one I will consider.
