Billing Discrepancy Ignored – Urgent Follow-Up Needed

was admitted to Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital on 17 April 2025 for a procedure. Upon admission, I was granted a discount by the admissions desk and paid R2200 on the spot. Unfortunately, this discount was never processed by accounts, and an additional R7000 was incorrectly deducted from my medical savings.

Following the advice of the hospital’s accountant, I reached out to the admission administrator, Craig Armugam (also cc’ing Helena van Niekerk). Despite multiple follow-ups and assurances from receptionists that I would receive a callback or email, I have yet to hear anything back.

I understand delays can happen, but this is a serious billing error that has caused unnecessary financial strain. I respectfully request that the accounts department and admission supervisor urgently review this matter and reverse the incorrect deduction. I’m more than willing to provide any supporting documentation needed.

I’m very disappointed by the lack of communication and accountability so far—especially given how stressful medical procedures already are. I sincerely hope someone from the hospital team will take this matter seriously and respond promptly to resolve it.
