Bad Service and Treatment

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a significant breach of patient privacy and dignity that occured during my recent visit at Rosepark Hospital in Bloemfontein.

The incident took place on the 14 and 15 of May 2026.

While I was being examined, the curtains were left wide open, allowing staff and visitors passing by to hear everything. I also noticed some of your staff member loudly discussing my diagnosis and health history within earshot of other patients in the waiting area and ward.

The lack of privacy was highly distressing and unacceptable. Holspitals are required to treat sensitive medical information with the utmost confidentiality and respect. I know that I am diabetic and don't need someone to remind me of that especially in the public space. Because of this lapse,my right to privacy was violated.
