Bad Service

Hi, I am very dissapointed in Peglarae Hospital.My son wa bought into the emergency unit by his father(1st time using your emergency unit as we normally use medicare).He was complaining about a sore ear, sore throat and he also had a fever.The Doctor that attended to him only prescribed ear drops and mybulen(which really suprised me as there was nothing to treat the throat).The whole day of saturday my son was not getting better but instead worse and could not even study for his exams.I asked him if the Doctor checked his throat and he said “no,she only put a light in my ears and listed to me heart”.Sunday morning we had to rush to your emergency unit again as he was still in pain,to my suprise i notice on his file that the nurse that was assisting him before he went to see the Dr wrote “swollen tonsils”.we were seen by another Dr and was told he has tonsillitis and a bad ear infection that can only be treated by an antibiotic.we were given another prescription.Now tell me life healthcare,how did a whole trained professional fail to notice the swollen tonsils and the ear infection on friday?was this a plan for us to come back so that another claim be made on our medical aid at my son’s expense?i am furious about this whole thing as my son could not even prepare for the Maths exam he has today(20/11/2023).I will never recommend Life healthcare Rustenburg to anyone i know.
