Bad service
I'm writing this with much disappointment with the service I received from a Dr Motuba and his assistant (Pat) at life brenthurst hospital. I went for the consultation on Monday 21 Feb and booked for operation on the 24th. The first disservice I received was from the assistant. She did not do her job of making sure that I received and signed the consent forms before my admission, did not even bother to tell me that I needed to have a covid test done before my admission, did not give the courtesy call to help prepare for my operation e.g telling me not to have any solid food 6hours before the operation (since I'm a first time patient). She just wasn't interested in providing her health care service to me. And now to the Dr. He doesn't seem to care about his patients, he discharged me while I was sedated didn't even come back to check if I was doing OK after the operation, let alone to tell me how I should care for the wound or anything. To top it all off I had to call them the following day to ask about the sick note that I didn't receive, knowing that I am employed and I will need one for work. The Dr didn't even bother to give me the letter even after having called them and them making a promise that he will email me the letter. Till today he hasn't sent me the note. I know brenthurst to be a hospital with excellent service and care but what I received was beyond disappointing.
