Bad Bad Admin

My review is not about bad service, because my late Wife received excellent care while she was being treated at Life Flora Hospital, until her passing on 15 May 2023.

My complaint is about stupidity and the lack of compassion by clerical staff. For some strange reason Discovery did not pay all of the accounts, leaving an amount of around R4000 outstanding. Flora handed the account over as a BAD DEBT to Blakes Attorneys, while sending emails to my deceased wife's old email address requesting payment and trying to contact me on a cell number that hasn't been in use since 2010.

I eventually received call after call from Blakes Attorneys on my correct number almost on a daily basis, but each time a different agent, and to all of them i requested documents so that i could follow up.

The collection process i understand, the lack of compassion and the overall administrative failures on Life Healthcare's part was disgusting.
