Appalling treatment at Wilgeheuwel casualty

I arrived at the Wilgeheuwel causality at 34 weeks pregnant, experiencing excruciating pain that indicated that something was wrong with my unborn baby.

The doctor who was on duty informed me and my husband that no gynecologist would consult with me or even touch me at Wilgeheuwel without any previous interaction. No check was done to evaluate what was causing the pain, whether I was dilated, bleeding and whether my unborn baby was safe before dismissing me and sending me off to another hospital.

I struggled to even walk out and make it back to the car, In the state not even an ambulance was offered.

My baby was born within 5min of arrival at the next hospital. Born at 34 weeks he struggled to breath and was admitted into the NICU.

So what exactly classifies an emergency to this casualty department
