Appalling and ridiculous service

My Gp referrer me to Mount Edgecombe Hospital as I have a full blown abcess and I require to go in to theatre for drainage. I wait 2 hours in the trauma unit only to be told that my medical aid doesn't cover anything to do with abcess's. I have to pay a R50000 up front if I still want surgery done. There is no other option than going to a government hospital. Above that i need to pay R325 for trauma fees yet no medical attention was given to me. The poor service given by the staff was absolutely disgusting and appalling. I will never want to go back there and never will I refer any one going there in future.
