Appalling and Disgusting Service with no empathy for human life

I arrived at Life Healthcare Casternhoff Clinic in Midrand on the 10th of November 2022 for surgery, after being admitted on the 10th at 18h00 i was given a meal at 20h00 only to be told to stop eating before finishing my meal due to an NPO as i was scheduled for surgery on the 11th as per the Dr’s orders. I was then woken up at 5am under the impression id be going to theatre in a few hours. 5 hours later and not even the nurses on duty came to check up on me. Then i decide to find out whats happening none of they’re staff knew, i have since been informed that il only be going to theatre between 13h30 and 14h00 this afternoon meaning that a patient has gone a total of 17 hours without food. Mind you this is a private institution that prides itself in preserving life and one of they’re decorated values being

Now i ask as a patient whos been admitted for over 12 hours who has not eaten awaiting to go to theatre is this what you define passion for people?

Is this the quality of the power of ‘e’. Where is your empathy for your patients? Where is the excellence in your service? Just to name a few…

On personal care, if i had not escalated this matter i would still be in my bed clueless as i am now waiting patiently to be attended to.

Where is your passion for people?

These are peoples lives you are playing with! The exuberant amounts of money we pay does this kind of care and service justify them?

Disappointment doesn’t begin to describe how i am feeling instead i am appalled and disgusted!
