Utterly disappointed with your service!

My child was admitted to hospital last year November and had to spend 4 days in ICU. The hospital sent the claim through to the medical aid on the day my child was discharged. Now almost a year later I get a letter from the hospital showing their endless efforts to get the medical aid to pay. <br> <br> I have since been in contact to figure out why the claim was never paid and discovered that the medical aid is claiming that my child was not sick enough for ICU! How can you make such claims if an experienced pediatrician saw the need for this?!<br> <br> The hospital is claiming that they were never informed of this rejection and then when they started following up on non-payment they were told that the case is stale?! <br> <br> My response from liberty: \The scheme can not be held liable for this account has we didn't receive all the required information & there was no follow ups with the 4 months period of the service dates & scheme rules dictates if this step were not followed the account will be stale & the scheme will unfortunately not be liable."<br> HOW CAN YOU MAKE SUCH A CLAIM IF YOU CANNOT EVEN SEND ME PROOF THAT YOU INFORMED THE HOSPITAL OF NON PAYMENT?!"""
