Good day, I would like to formally raise a complaint regarding the service I have received since the transition between Bonitas and Momentum Medical Scheme. Since the transition, the customer service experience has been extremely frustrating. When calling for assistance, I have had to wait between 20 and 40 minutes before getting through to a consultant. Once assisted, I am often advised that my query needs to be referred to another department. After waiting for assistance and following up through various channels, I am still left without a clear resolution. Despite previous communication indicating that the transition would be handled smoothly, customers are unfortunately experiencing the opposite. Outstanding Claim – June 2026 I have an outstanding claim relating to my daughter's hospital treatment in June 2026, which has still not been paid. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact the medical scheme, I eventually managed to get assistance on 20 July 2026. The reference number provided was: *** Despite the claim being reported and the reference being provided, the claim remains unpaid and I have still not received a satisfactory explanation or resolution. I am now extremely frustrated and feel that I have no option but to escalate this matter further, as I am unable to get the necessary assistance through the normal customer service channels. Condric Cover – Information Not Transferred I also have an issue regarding my Condric cover. When I contacted Momentum, I was informed that they have no information or record of my existing Condric cover. I was advised that I need to provide them with the information regarding what was previously covered under Bonitas so that the Condric cover can be activated. This is extremely concerning because this information should have been transferred as part of the transition between the medical schemes. As the customer, I should not have to ensure that information which was already held by Bonitas is transferred and correctly captured by Momentum. This is an example of the difficulties customers are now experiencing as a result of the transition. We are being placed in a position where we have to follow up, provide information again and ensure that our existing benefits and cover are not lost or interrupted.
