Liberty Medical Scheme the worst

<p>I have been a member of Liberty for 5 years nw. Its a lovely Medical aid if u never claim . But heavens as soon as u have a claim, well then the wheels come off. I had a procedure done on 20 April 2016 . Called liberty for authorisation. Also called to ask what my returns would be on each code as i needed to pay doctor upfront. I knew that the doctor i was using charges at a 300% rate and i was only covered by liberty 100%.</p> <p>I was comfortable in the difference of the scheme. However the back payment that i would receive when i claimed would soften the blow. This did not happen Liberty only payed out 40% of what was promised , they justified it with a 0005 code . This is a multiple procedure code in wich your payment miraculously become less. Nw to my understanding or how they explain . A member will be paid out what they deserve if they went into a operation once every day for a week to do one little thing. Instead of doing a procedure all at once. How ridiculous </p> <p>I have been battling for a month with this scheme. Its the worst. I will b opening a Facebook page for every one to submit thier horrid experience with this Scheme. Hope we get heard ........</p>
