Inefficient and poor service

I was with Libcare (closed scheme) and when I resigned on the 30 June from Liberty decided to get private Liberty Health care, One would think it would be easy to get cover from 1 July but I have had nothing but trouble. I have been sent a \condition of acceptance"letter which has subjected me to a 5% penalty and a 3 month waiting period because they assume (rather than look at the facts (medical aid membership certificates) to see that I have had uninterrupted medical aid membership since I was a minor. The start date given to me is also 1 August despite my request for 1 July (and informing them I would pay the premium for July as soon as I have been admitted as a member. Apparently a senior person in CPT has dealt with my application today after my numerous complaints but it seems from the letter mentioned above this has not helped. I have never experienced such inefficiency - it is exasperating. Can Liberty Health please get their act together!!!!"""
