Hospital plan useless in emergency

Listen everybody, this is what I got back from Liberty after I almost died from an emergency getting up in the morn with breathing difficulties after contracting broncho pneumonia as an asthmatic. The hospital at Mulbarton Netcare cleared me and immediately gave me priority treatment over others. Spent the day there and doc said not to admid me longer since they had RAGING infections and I couldn't afford to take nother infection on board. I got bills for thousands of rands. They're STILL coming in. I am on Liberty Platinum FOCUS. Here's what I got from them. UNBELIEVABLE - how do people ask 48 hrs in advance in times of emergencies. Honest to G-d, read your contracts. This is scandalous! Got this from them:
\If no authorisation has ben obtained- within 48 hrs- no auth- no
payment.Casualty hours for illness is from 19h00 to 07:00 am
If An Injury - Casualty can be made use of any time of the day or nite (sic).
If outside of casualty time- member will be liable as only an in
hospital option."
Well"
