Extreme poor service
I joined your medical scheme in Feb 2015 and my membership commenced from the 1 March 2015. All documents that I signed indicated that I should be debited on the 25th of every month and this wasn't adhered to. The first 3 months, the debit orders went off on the 1st of every month. Like most people that get paid on the 25th of every month its rather difficult to make sure that money stays in your account till the 1st of every month. On the 1st of June my debit order returned because I was short of R2.00 and my membership was suspended. I then made a cash payment of my full premium and had my suspension lifted. Even though asked again for this debit order to be changed to 25th, still the 1st for July and August. Now I get suspended again I paid a double R6344 and then you terminate my membership without me knowing. I am extremely upset because now you have re-instated me to a new membership which now imposes penalties which include no maternity benefits which I had initially. I am giving birth in November and I am not covered and initially I was but due to no one abiding to a signed contract and adhering to my requests now I'm faced with this problem.
