Conflicting Claim acknowledgements

On the 2nd of August 2016 I was admitted into hospital due to a spider bite that turned into an abscess so big the doctor could not believe it.

They drained it that evening I was under anaesthesia when they did that’s how bad it was and I was left with two open wounds on my left hip

On the 3rd of August two lovely ladies came into my ward took the drain out took the plasters off and the wounds I had were +- 9cm long and about +- 7cm deep (I have photos of the wounds if required).

They then attached a machine to me informing me that this will half the healing time and I must not get a fright when there is a claim on my medical aid for -+ R12000.00.

So I was expecting a claim for -+ that amount. On Tuesday the 27th of September I received a claim acknowledgement saying 2 of the 3 items would be paid for.

On the 3rd item it said there is waiting period. Now the only waiting period I was aware of was my ankle was broken in March 2016 which is excluded for a year.

Today I received another Claim acknowledgement saying that LMS will not be paying for any of it. I don’t think this is fair was I had already received confirmation that 2 of the 3 items would be paid it says on the Claim acknowledgement. Can this matter please be addressed.
