What a ****py creditor who **** innocent debtors! I have an account that’s been handed over to them due to non payment.

So I started making payments of R500 every month from February until June. In July, I called letting them know that I want to settle my account, and they advised me of an amount to pay to settle it.

Fine, so end July I make the payment. Fast forward to early September… I now notice on Experian that the original account company is still listing me as a non payer on this account. So I call them and they tell me that I’m still owing , and I tell them that I have settled with LGR Attorneys and they told me I need to contact LGR regarding the account because it has been handed over to them. LGR Attorneys need to provide me with a settlement letter and paid up later in order for the company to update my information on Experian. Mind you… this is affecting my credit score.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!! Such a horrific experience with their call centre consultants who are rude, shout at clients, drop your call, promise to do something and never do it.

So I called LGR Attorneys to find out what’s going on. The first agent told me that my account is settled but there has been an added fee of R600. When I asked her what that is about, she didn’t know and said she will get back to me, and she never did.

Few days later, I called in again. Spoke to another agent. I told her I’m aware of what’s going on with my account, I just need them to please give me the settlement letter that I was supposed to get before I paid the settlement amount. That lady never listened to what I said, she kept on emphasis on what the first agent said, rudely told me that she will just transfer me to that first agent, and kept on talking with her colleagues in Sotho or Setswana, which I don’t understand. In anger, I dropped the call.

On that same day, I called in again. The third agent was not even interested in my case and she dropped the call.

Fourth agent didn’t even know what I was talking about. She said she’ll send the settlement later by end of day and I still have not received it.

WHAT ANGERS ME IS THAT I HAVE PAID UP MY DEBT BUT I AM STILL LISTED NEGATIVELY ALL BECAUSE LGR ATTORNEYS IS AN UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS THAT REFUSES TO SORT OUT MY ISSUE
